Surgical Removal of Growths and Lumps

There are a number of growths which occur on the body. Commonly these are cysts (containing sebaceous material) or lipomas (containing fat). These are often enclosed in a sac and require surgical removal with stitches under local anaesthesia. It is important to remove these for analysis and also to prevent recurrent infection or inflammation.
